Clean Air

Texans, particularly those living in urban areas, breathe some of the most polluted air in the country.  Air pollution in Texas comes from many sources, including cars, power plants, cement kilns, refineries, and petrochemical plants.  Many of Texas’s urban areas are not compliance with federal ozone standards.  The Texas League of Conservation Voters Educational Fund supports efforts, initiatives and policies to improve the quality of air Texans breathe.
